Having spent 25 years working in people management as a director, manager, trainer, facilitator, assessor, coach, mediator, independent investigator and mentor I have gained a lot of experience and helped and supported hundreds of people on their life’s journey.  

In 2002  I set up my own HR consultancy, Jigsaw HR, to help small businesses who did not have professional HR support.  Over the last few years I have had numerous approaches from individuals for help with work related problems and this area has been growing.  I have therefore set up this separate site aimed purely at individuals rather than businesses.

I describe myself as a "learn-aholic" and am continually learning something new.  I am interested in anything that helps me to help others.  Besides the qualifications shown above I have qualifications in alternative areas such as Hypnotherapy and Reiki and whilst I don't actively work in those areas, some of the skills help me to have a more holistic view of the person.  

I had my first book "Interview Secrets"  published in April 2010 by Harper Collins and is part of a series of Secrets books they launched at the same time.

Technology is my latest challenge having just swapped to an iMAC after a lifetime on PCs.   I have an iPAD2 and and iPhone and all these changes are designed to help me work wherever I happen to be, rather than chained behind a desk.   Mobility is one of the keys for the present and the future as the world changes.   What next?   Watch this space!

As well as my love of learning and my wonderful friends, I also have another love  ..... and here she is in the picture at the bottom, my adorable Birman cat, Izzy.   Isn't she beautiful?  Birmans have such a loving nature and she's definitely a home cat, she follows me everywhere!
